Savanna Spectacular
LAUNCH DAY
Springfield, MO
GPM Rollout
Goat Production Management had its official rollout at the Savanna Spectacular in Springfield MO in September 2023. This show was sponsored by Pedigree International and they did a wonderful job of putting together an informative show where producers and vendors could interact. Many producers stopped by, and we had many positive comments as we displayed the GPM product. We also got a lot of feedback and suggestions for features that will add to future functionality for the meat goat industry.
We also got to visit with a representative from NSIP (National Sheep Improvement Program) about their EBVs used to aid and monitor herd performance. GPM is storing these EBVs for each animal, but we talked to NSIP about the possibility of partnering with them to extract needed information from GPM for users to submit to NSIP for their analysis.
This was a very successful event that we were proud and happy to attend and are looking forward to
participating in more like this in the future!
