Dani and husband, Dalton, have three children who will be the fifth generation on the family ranch. They are high school sweethearts who have worked in the agriculture industry for over 12 years and have been ranching on their own since 2018. They raise cattle and savanna meat goats (Diamond Savanna Ranch). And the occasional litter of LGD pups.
Kidding on a ranch on the South Dakota / Wyoming line can be crazy with weather, predators and drought. Dani spent years trying to perfect multiple Excel spreadsheets to track the information she felt she needed to make important and profitable decisions on the ranch.
In 2021, Dani was showing her uncle Terry her many spreadsheets and explained how she would love "this and that" information in one spot allowing it to be sorted and printed.

Terry grew up on a farm in Northeast South Dakota. They raised small grain and row crops on the farm along with raising cattle, hogs, sheep and chickens. After he graduated from high school he farmed with his brothers and father for a number of years. He later decided to pursue an interest in computers and graduated from Minnesota State University at Moorhead with a degree in Computer Information Systems. Terry has helped write and support agricultural accounting software for 26 years.
Over the last couple of years Terry has been working on the GPM software package to help aid in the production and management in the goat industry, bringing Dani's vision to life.
In his spare time Terry likes spending time with family and friends enjoying the finer things in life.
